Sitting in Liverpool’s Everton Park is Everton Park Action Sports Hub and one of the things you’ll find here is a pump track that’s worth a visit if you’re nearby.
The track is at the junction of Netherfield Road South and Prince Edwin Street, nearest postcode is L5 4LS.
What’s here is a decent sized pump track/mini BMX track with a starting slope, rollers and doubles. It’s wide enough to get a couple of bikes on side by side so good for a bit of competition with your mates.
It could do with a bit of TLC and the surface is starting to break up in places but it’s nothing that’s going to get in your way.
A bit further down you’ve also got the UK’s first ever glow-in-the-dark skate park. Built by Wheelscape, it’s bowl and plaza style street section brought it national recognition when it opened in 2015, being featured in the Guardian.
In summary, what you’ve got here is a good little venue with enough scope to keep you occupied for hours.
If you’re going to take the time to practice, practice like the elite.
